What we do
Solar Sorted is a free matching service. We ask a few questions about your home and pass your details to one installer from our partner list who covers your area. We do not install solar panels or batteries ourselves, and we do not give financial advice.
The installer
- Any survey, quote, contract, finance agreement or installation is between you and the installer. Their own terms will apply.
- We check that installers on our list are MCS certified when they join, but the installer is responsible for the quality of their advice and work.
- You are under no obligation to accept a quote.
Information on this website
We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is general information only. Whether solar is suitable for your home, and how much you could save, depends on your roof, location, energy use and tariff. Your installer will confirm this at your survey. Government schemes and tax rules, such as VAT relief and the Smart Export Guarantee, can change.
Our responsibility to you
Our service is free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss arising from a survey, quote, contract or installation carried out by an installer. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
